A contract or purchase order is proposed for the product(s) or service(s) identified <br />below. Indian River County, FL, intends to negotiate and award a PO or contract to the vendor <br />indicated. Any responses received as a result of this Notice shall be considered solely for the <br />purpose of determining whether an equivalent product or service can be provided by <br />alternative source(s), which may warrant a competitive solicitation. Responses will NOT be <br />considered as proposals, bids or quotes. <br />PRODUCT/SERVICE REQUIRED: EleGARD Patient Positioning System <br />DESCRIPTION: The EleGARD Patient Positioning System is intended to assist in elevating the <br />head and the thorax of a patient from a supine position into a multi-level elevated position with <br />the head above the thorax and the thorax above the lower body and extremities. The EleGARD <br />System is reported to be the only device that positions the patient for CPR and airway <br />management and raises the patient into multi-level elevation positioning to support the practice <br />of the Elevated CPR method in the pre -hospital and hospital settings. <br />The County considering the purchase of twelve (12) systems consisting of: EleGARD device, <br />LUCAS Series 3 Backplate, two (2) Li Ion batteries, one (1) battery charger, one (1) Carrying <br />Case and instructions for use. <br />25 <br />
