STATE OF FLORIDA <br />NOUN RIWR COUNTY <br />THIS IS TO ERTIFV THAT T IS ATRUE AND CORRECT <br />COW ORIOM AL OM M THIS OFFICE <br />OFFICE OF THE CO UNTYADMINISTRA TOR <br />R LER <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY eY ° C. <br />180127" Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960-338" <br />Phone: 772-226-1408 - Fax: 772-978-1822 <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY EMERGENCY ORDER 2024-002 <br />WHEREAS, on May 7, 2024, Upon the request of the Emergency Services Director, I, in my <br />official capacity as County Administrator, and acting pursuant to section 101.10(1) of the Code of <br />Indian River and Resolution 2024-016 of the Board of County Commissioners, declared that a local <br />state of emergency exists in all of Indian River County, Florida, by reason of wildfires; and <br />WHEREAS, over the past several days, all areas of the County have received significant <br />amounts of rainfall and the threat posed to the health, safety and welfare by wildfires to citizens and <br />property of Indian River County is greatly reduced; and <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to the authority granted in me in my capacity as County Administrator, I <br />am authorized to enter emergency orders necessary to ensure the health, safety, and welfare of the <br />residents of Indian River County, including, without limitation, those orders authorized in chapter 252, <br />Florida Statutes, and chapter 101 of the Code of Indian River County, and other applicable law. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, this Emergency Order is issued rescinding and cancelling the <br />mandatory burn banfor all areas of Indian River County and cancelling Indian River County <br />Emergency Order 2024-001. <br />DONE AND ORDERED this 14th day of June 2024. <br />John A.
