SERVICE AGREEMENT <br />Attachment A <br />Scope of Services <br />A. Florida Statewide Response for Opioid Abatement <br />The "Children and Families Operating Procedure on Florida Statewide Response for <br />Opioid Abatement," is herein incorporated by reference and should be followed as per <br />the most recent effective date available. At the time of this Agreement's execution, this <br />document is still in draft form. When available, it will be shared from Southeast Florida <br />Behavioral Health Network, Inc. staff. <br />B. Core Strategies <br />Non -Qualified Counties shall choose from the abatement strategies listed in the Core <br />Strategies — Abatement Strategies section below. However, priority shall be given to the <br />following core abatement strategies ("Core Strategies.") <br />1. Naloxone or another FDA -approved drug to reverse opioid overdoses. <br />a. Expand training for first responders, schools, community support groups and <br />families. <br />b. Increase distribution to individuals who are uninsured or whose insurance does <br />not cover the needed service. <br />2. Medication -Assisted Treatment ("MAT") Distribution and other opioid -related <br />treatment <br />a Increase distribution of MAT to non -Medicaid eligible or uninsured individuals. <br />b. 'Provide education to school-based and youth -focused programs that discourage <br />or prevent misuse. <br />c. Provide MAT education and awareness training to healthcare providers, EMTs, <br />law enforcement, and other first responders; and <br />d. Treatment ana Recovery Support Services such as residential and inpatient <br />treatment, intensive outpatient treatment, outpatient therapy or counseling, and <br />recovery housing that allow or integrate medication with other support services. <br />3. Pregnant & Postpartum Women <br />a.
