C.] <br />15.B.A. 24-0318 Residential Paper Shredding Event on April 27, 2024 <br />Recommended Action: Solid Waste Disposal District staff recommends that the Board approve the Spring <br />Residential Paper Shredding Event to be held on April 27, 2024. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />SWDD MOU with WM 2023 <br />Recycling Specialist Jill Brown announced the residential paper Shredding event <br />would be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at <br />Southeast Secure Shredding. She stated there was no charge, but participation was <br />limited to one drop off per vehicle, per household, up to 35 lbs. Ms. Brown stated <br />that at the last event, on November 18, 2023, 560 cars came through, which diverted <br />eight tons of paper from the landfill. <br />Indian River County Florida Page 21 <br />
