Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final April 9, 2024 <br />Recommended Action: Approve the list of checks and electronic payments issued by the Comptroller <br />Division for the time period of March 22, 2024 to March 28, 2024 <br />Attachments: Comptroller Division Staff Report <br />Approved <br />8.F. 24-0309 Annual Financial Report <br />Recommended action: Approve the report and authorize Chairman to execute any related documents. <br />Attachments: Comptroller Division Staff Report <br />Annual Financial Report <br />Approved <br />8.G. 24-0292 Authorization to Increase Blanket Purchase Orders <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners waive the requirement for <br />bids and authorize increases to the listed Purchase Orders, as approved by Budget. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Approved staffs recommendation <br />8.H. 24-0325 Insurance Renewal FY25 <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends that the Board approve the proposed renewal and authorize staff <br />to bind coverage for May 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025, with a current annual <br />premium of $4,109,489.04. The renewal premium is based upon the current <br />schedule of values, coverage selections, and includes the annual broker fee of <br />$125,000. <br />Attachments: Staff Report <br />Executive Summary <br />Commissioner Loar stated that the self-insurance fund and property casualty <br />insurance must be renewed annually. He wanted to inform the public that the <br />insurance needs of county buildings were assessed, and as a result, the rates would <br />increase by more than 3%. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Loar, seconded by Commissioner Earman, <br />to approve staffs recommendation.
