The County has received a Derelict Vessel Removal <br />Authorization Letter for each of these vessels from The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation <br />Commission (FWC). <br />The selected contractor will use FWC Best Management Practices for Derelict Vessel Removal. <br />These include protective measures and equipment to prevent erosion and pollution during <br />removal. <br />The County is applying for the FWC Derelict Vessel Removal Grant for 100% reimbursement of <br />the Contractor (Outlaw Maritime LLC) amount in the total of $33,600.00.
