RESOLUTION NO. 96- 107 <br />WHEREAS, the resolution was published in the Vero Beach Press Journal on <br />August 26, 1996, as required by Section 206.04, Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County passed <br />Resolution No. 96-99 on August 20, 1996, which set a time and place for a <br />public hearing at which the owners of the properties to be assessed and other <br />interested persons would have the chance to be heard as to any and all <br />complaints as to said project and said special assessments, and for the Board <br />to act as required by Section -206.07, Indian River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, notice of the time and place of the public hearing was <br />published in the Press Journal Newspaper on Friday, August 23, 1996, and once <br />again on Friday, August 30, 1996 (twice one week apart; the last being at <br />least one week prior to the hearing), as required by Section 206.06, Indian <br />River County Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the land owners of record were mailed notices at least ten days <br />prior to the hearing, as required by Section 206.06, Indian River County <br />Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian `River County on <br />Tuesday, September 10, 1996, at 9:05 a.m. conducted the public hearing with o <br />regard to the special pecial assessments; _ <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF N <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: O <br />C <br />1. The foregoing recitals are affirmed and ratified in their entirety. c <br />2. The special assessments shown on the attached assessment roll are hereby 4 <br />confirmed and approved, and shall remain legal, valid, and binding first 4 <br />liens against the properties assessed until paid in full. <br />3• The Board finds that the properties assessed by this resolution will <br />receive special benefits equal to or greater than the cost of the <br />assessment. <br />to <br />a, <br />4.
