40 <br />40 <br />40 <br />ARTICLE VII <br />CONSTRUCTION COMMENCEMENT AND MONITORING <br />g:0n nS1ine .ommencement. Actual physical commencement of construction shall <br />not occur until the Design Build Firm has been selected and has executed the Design Build Agreement <br />f to construct the Improvements, and the Resign Build Firm has prepared or procured the following: <br />(a) Partial construction drawings and Project specifications which show, to the satisfaction <br />of the County and the Dodgers, that the Project as designed conforms to the Proposal and can be <br />built for the Project Costs; <br />(b) The permits, approvals and insurance necessary for commencement of construction <br />of the Project or the applicable component thereof; <br />(c) The payment and performance bonds as required by Article 12 hereof <br />7,2, 5 hcduli Within fourteen (14) calendar days after physical commencement of <br />° construction, the Dodgers shall obtain from the Design Build Firm a summary time scaled network <br />i diagram for construction of the Project in accordance with the Construction Schedule. In addition <br />to the foregoing, the Design Build Firm shall submit to the County and the Rodgers a narrative report <br />once each month with the updated schedule in a form agreed upon by the Dodgers and the County. <br />It shall include a description of the progress during the last month in terms of activities completed or <br />in progress, a description of problem areas, current and anticipated delaying factors and their <br />estimated impact on the cost of performance of other activities and completion dates, and an <br />explanation of corrective action taken or proposed. <br />f <br />F <br />I <br />L <br />L <br />y,3 Pggress Meetings. During the course of construction, weekly progress meetings <br />will be held at the Project site. The Dodgers will coordinate and chair such meetings. The Design <br />Build firm shall prepare minutes of each meeting and shall present at each such meeting: (i) an <br />updated network diagram of the Construction Schedule and Draw Schedule; (ii) information <br />concerning any special problems and remedial actions to be taken; (iii) status of fees, permits, building <br />inspections and violations, if any, and (iv) any other matters requested by the Dodgers to be <br />presented. <br />16 <br />
