Stephen Coyle, August 16, 2004, Page 2 <br />Klmley-Horn <br />► __ <br />and Associates, Inc. <br />Our scope of services, schedule, and fee are as follows: <br />SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Task I: Research and Recovery <br />Site reconnaissance for the recovery of horizontal and vertical control <br />(NGVD 1929) and ties to the State Plane Coordinate System, Florida East <br />Zone (NAD 83190). Establish the right-of-way of US Highway 1 from Main <br />Street to Jackson Street. Establish the right-of-way of the Florida East Coast <br />railroad from CR 512 (Eastbound) to a point 100 feet north of the Sebastian <br />Business Supply. <br />Task 2: Records Research <br />Research at the Indian River County Courthouse, Property Appraisers' Office, <br />Utilities, Engineering, Surveying, and Right -of -Way Departments for <br />applicable records in an effort to establish road and canal right -of --ways, <br />existing easements, horizontal and vertical project control, property lines, and <br />ownership. Obtain copses of the most recent recorded deeds for those parcels <br />lying between the Florida East Coast Railroad and US Highway 1 from CR 512 <br />(Eastbound) north to Jackson Street (± 95 parcels). <br />Task 3: Establish Boundary Lines and Location of Constructed Improvements and <br />Utilities within the Project Limits <br />This task will include the field location of the improvements within the <br />proposed corridors (± I [.0W), Cross-sections will be obtained at 1440' <br />intervals and elevations will be shown at potential conflict areas. Boundary <br />lines for those parcels identified in Task 2 above (:t 95 parcels) will be <br />established. <br />Task d: Preparation of rinal Survey ReportlBase Alap <br />Upon completion of the field data acquisition, field note reduction, and position <br />computations, the final topographic surveyo base map will be prepared at a scale <br />of 1" ; 40', <br />
