AS <br />db <br />40 <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />WORK AUTHORIZATION AND SCOPE OF WORK <br />Date: Work Authorization No. for Consulting Services <br />County No. Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. (Consultant) CDM Project No. <br />I. PROTECT DESCRIPTION <br />Provide engineering services by providing personnel to manage the County Landfill on a <br />temporary basis. <br />II. SCOPE OF SERVICES <br />Professional engineering services to manage the County landfill and associated solid waste <br />operations for an interim period of twelve (12) weeks. More specifically, Camp Dresser & <br />McKee Inc. ("consulting engineer") will provide a professional, subject to approval by the <br />County, to assume the duties of interim solid waste supervisor on a temporary basis in <br />accordance with the job description attached hereto. The individual provided shall be on <br />duty and shall perform work as directed by the County, but shall not be considered a <br />County employee, and shall not be paid by the County or be entitled to any benefits of <br />County employment. <br />III. CONSULTING ENGINEER INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS <br />The consulting engineer shall maintain in force insurance coverage as set forth in the <br />Professional Engineering Services Master Agreement between Solid Waste Disposal District <br />and Camp Dresser & McKee Inc. <br />IV. COMPENSATION FOR SERVICES <br />The consulting engineer shall be compensated as set forth in Attachment B, up to a <br />maximum of $16,200, only for time spent by the individual furnished by the consulting <br />engineer as interim landfill supervisor. <br />V. CONFLICT OF INTEREST <br />The acting interim landfill supervisor provided by the consulting engineer shall not review, <br />manage, or exercise any authority over any project in which the consulting engineer is <br />involved. <br />VI. TERMINATION <br />Indian River County may discontinue the services of the interim landfill supervisor <br />furnished by the consulting engineer at any time by providing notice to the consulting <br />engineer. <br />0000-ELANB-MT.ELAIRC <br />rb3297.dm A-1 <br />
