Chapter 1 Summary523 FW 1.1 1,1 Purpose, The purpose of this chapter is to summarize guidance on those requirements generally applicable to grant programs. 1.2 Applicability and Scope. In accepting Federal funds, States and other granleos must comply with all applicable Federal laws, regulations, and policies. This chapter Is not all-inclusive. Exclusion of any specific requirement does not relieve grantees of their responsibility for compliance. Gopios of reference materials can be obtained from the Regional Offices.
