P <br />2. Indian River County will be given thirty (30) days notice prior to cancellation or <br />modification of any stipulated insurance. Such notification will be in writing by registered <br />1 mail, return receipt requested and addressed to the Risk Manager, <br />b. An appropriate "Indemnification" clause shall be made a provision of the contract, (See <br />Form of Agreement Article 6). <br />c. It is the responsibility of the contractor to insure that all subcontractors comply with all <br />insurance requirements. <br />d. It should be remembered that these are minimum requirements which are subject to <br />modification in response to high hazard operations. <br />e. A model "Certificate of Insurance" form is attached as page CI -1. The Certificate of <br />Insurance submitted MAST be in conformance and completed as to Coverage, Description, <br />Certificate Holder, and Cancellation Terms, as the model form provided shows. <br />12. L1QOIDATFD DAMAGRg- The amount of liquidated damages for the Project is hereby <br />established as set out in the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Standard <br />gpec'fcai n s for Road and Endue Con=traction latest edition, under Section 8-10.2. <br />Liquidated damages apply to all portions of the Project. Liquidated damages may be <br />deducted from monies due the Contractor and shall not exceed the total contract price. <br />13. PERMITS- The County shall acquire and pay for all license fees, royalties, permits; <br />governmental and inspection charges necessary forperformance and completion ofthe work. <br />The Contractor shall arrange for the use of all utilities and pay the fees and charges therefor <br />with no offset whatsoever. <br />14. INTERPRETATIONS OF PLANS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS: The Contractor <br />shall verify all dimensions, quantities, locations, materials and details shown on the Plans, <br />Supplementary Drawings, schedules or other data received from the Engineer, and shall <br />notify him of all errors, <br />omissions, conflicts and discrepancies found therein. Failure to discover or correct errors, <br />conflicts or discrepancies shall not relieve the Contractor of full responsibility for <br />unsatisfactory work, faulty construction, or improper operation resulting therefrom nor from <br />rectifying such condition at his own expense. He will not he allowed to take advantage of <br />any error or omissions, m full instructions will be furnished by the Engineer, should any <br />error or omissions be discovered. All schedules are given for the convenience of the <br />Engineer and Contractor and are not guaranteed to be complete. <br />GC -5 <br />
