E71 <br />11-0 J- Irl <br />AGREEMENT BETWEEN p ©— 3 B <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA <br />AND <br />EXCHANGE CLUB CASTLE <br />IN-HOME PARENTING <br />This agreement is entered into this I -*t day of October, 2000, by and between Indian <br />River County, a political subdivision of the State of Florida, 1840 25`h Street, Vero Beach <br />FL, 32.960, hereinafter "County" and, <br />Exchange Club Castle <br />P.O. Box 12908 <br />Fort Pierce, Florida 34979 <br />hereinafter "Agency" <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 103.20, the Code of Indian River County, the <br />"purpose of the children's services advisory committee is to promote healthy children in a <br />healthy community"; and <br />WHEREAS, the Children's Services Advisory Committee has requested that the <br />Board of County Commissioners provide funding to the Agency; and <br />WHEREAS, the funding provided for in this agreement would promote healthy <br />children in a healthy community and serve a legitimate public purpose, <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of mutual covenants and promises herein <br />contained, and other good and valuable consideration, the parties hereto agree as follows: <br />The general scope of children's services to be performed by the Agency is as set <br />forth in the grant application submitted by the Agency or as otherwise established by the <br />Children's Services Advisory Committee. Such grant application is appended hereto and <br />hereby incorporated and integrated herein. The Agency's services shall promote healthy <br />children in a healthy community and serve a legitimate public purpose. <br />2. Term <br />This agreement is limited to services provided and costs incurred from the date this <br />agreement is executed by the second of the two parties through September 30, 2001. <br />
