BOOK 99 F'm�E 134 <br />ANALYSIS <br />The Agreement states that the Indian River County Department of <br />Utility Services shall provide temporary water service to Mr. and <br />Mrs. Verderosa until such time that a water line may be constructed <br />on Day Drive by assessment. They'agree to pay all fees required to <br />make this connection. They further agree to participate in the <br />assessment and to reconnect to this water line as required by the <br />Indian River County Department of Utility Services. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The Department of Utility Services recommends that the Board of <br />County Commissioners approve the attached Agreement with Mr. and <br />Mrs. Verderosa on the Consent Agenda. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Temporary Water Service Agreement with Michael <br />A. and Mildred Verderosa, as recommended by staff. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />F. County Tax Deed Sales Applications <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of September 5, 1996: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Lea R. Keller, CLA, county Attorney's Office <br />THRU: Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: September 5, 1996 <br />RE: County Tax Deed Sales Applications <br />on June 25, 1996, the Board approved the County redeeming and paying costs to <br />the Tax Collector in connection with certain tax certificates which were <br />eligible for tax deed applications. <br />Recently we were advised by the Clerk of the Court that as part of the <br />process of transferring title to the County, the total sum of $1,929.52 is <br />due to cover the costs of the Clerk's fees, legal advertisements, postage and <br />certified mailings, and Sheriff's service on each of the nine attached <br />certificates. <br />Requested Action: Staff requests the Board approve the payment of the total <br />cost to the Clerk of the Circuit Court. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the payment of $1,929.52 to the Clerk of the Circuit <br />Court, as recommended by staff. <br />SEPTEMBER 17, 1996 10 <br />
