40 <br />C> <br />i <br />September 25, 2000 <br />Hank Erikson <br />Florida Department of Community Affairs <br />Division of Emergency Management <br />2555 Shumard Oak Boulevard <br />Tallahassee, FL. 32399-2100 <br />RE: LMS ENDORSEMENT <br />SHELTER RETROFIT PROJECTS <br />Dear Mr. Erikson: <br />As Chairman of the Indian River County Local Mitigation Strategy Working Group, I would like <br />to offer my support to the submission of Hazard Mitigation Grant Program Applications for <br />Shelter Retrofit Projects for Indian River County. <br />As a result of implementing an approved project prioritization methodology, a list of ranked <br />projects was generated and approved by the Indian River County LMS Working Group at its <br />August 18, 1999 meeting. The LMS was formally adopted by Resolution of the Board of County <br />Commissioners on November 16, 1999.
