County Tax Deed Sales Applications <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of September 12, 1996: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />�240jwt, <br />. <br />FROM: Lea R. Vitunac, County Attorney <br />DATE: September 12, 1996 <br />RE: County Tax Deed Sales Applications <br />On June 25, 1996, the Board approved the County redeeming and paying costs to <br />the Tax Collector in connection with certain tax certificates which were <br />eligible for tax deed applications. <br />Recently we were advised by the Clerk of the Court that as part of the <br />process of transferring title to the County, the total sum of $1,770.16 is <br />due to cover the costs of the Clerk's fees, legal advertisements, postage and <br />certified mailings, and in some cases Sheriff's service on the eight listed <br />certificates. <br />Requested Action: Staff requests the Board approve the payment of the total <br />cost to the Clerk of the Circuit Court. <br />17 <br />September 24, 1996 <br />
