As-Bullt Resolution & <br />Assessment Roll for Paving and Drainage <br />Improvements to Sth Court South of 2nd Street <br />DATE: September 9, 1996 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The paving of 8th Court has been completed. The final assessment is as follows: <br />Preliminary Estimates <br />$29,148.27 - 100% <br />$21,861.20 - 75% <br />(1019.17 Front Footage) <br />$21.45/per FF <br />Final Cost <br />$26,818.16 -100% <br />$20,515.89 - 75%* <br />(1019.17 Front Footage) <br />$20.13/per FF <br />*This figure includes 296 Tax Collector's fee. <br />The final assessment roll has been prepared and is ready to be delivered to the Clerk to the <br />Board. Assessments are to be paid within 90 days or in 2 equal installments, the first to be <br />made twelve months from the due date and subsequent payments to be due yearly from the <br />due date at an interest rate of 81/z% established by the Board of County Commissioners. <br />ALTERNATIVES AND ANALYSIS <br />Since the final assessment to the benefitted owners is less than the preliminary assessment <br />roll, the only alternative presented is to approve the final assessment roll. <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />It is recommended that the final assessment roll and the "As -Built Resolution" for the <br />paving of the above mentioned road be approved by the Board of County Commissioners <br />and that it be transferred to the Tax Collector for recording in the "Assessment Lien Book" <br />and for collection. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously adopted <br />Resolution No. 96-121 certifying "as -built" costs <br />for certain paving and drainage improvements to 8th <br />Court south of 2nd Street, designated as Project No. <br />9416, and other construction necessitated by such <br />project, providing for formal completion date, and <br />date for payment without penalty and interest, as. <br />recommended in the memorandum. <br />42 <br />September 24, 1996 <br />BOOK,,, <br />
