40 <br />i <br />cil <br />II <br />ARTICLE 27 <br />INSURANCE BENEFITS <br />2.7,01 A. Hospitalization and medical insurance is provided for all classified <br />employees. The County agrees to ,pay for the employee and the <br />employee's dependent coverage, except that employee shall pay <br />$37.50 per month for dependent coverage commencing October <br />1, 2000. <br />B, The County agrees to bargain over the negotiable impacts, upon <br />proper request, of any reduction in the amount or scope of <br />coverage provided to employees and the family members. The <br />County may, at its option, obtain coverage from a different carrier <br />or provider, without being required to negotiate over the impacts <br />with the Union, provided that the benefits remain similar. <br />C. The County inay, at itsoption, elect to have any future increase <br />in the cost for dependent coverage absorbed by the employee. <br />D. If the cost of insurance payable by the employee is proposed to be <br />increased by more than $25.00 per month, the Union has the right <br />to negotiate over the increase, provided that written notice i� <br />given to the E=mergency Services Director within ten (10) working <br />
