Does your Board approve the annual budget and review regular financial reports of the operating budget and <br />-ap►ra► Tunas f now omen is rn►s review conoucreo s <br />Within our Board of Directors, the Finance Committee leads the development of 211's annual budget and approves the <br />agency's proposed/preliminary budget for the upcoming fiscal year, usually in December. The preliminary budget is <br />then presented to the entire Board of Directors by the Finance Committee Chair for final approval, usually at the <br />January meeting. The final budget will then be approved by the Board of Directors in June or July each year. The Board <br />also receives, reviews and approves monthly financial reports for the agency during each Board meeting, which take <br />place every other month. <br />2. Does any outside organization (such as a governmental unit) conduct periodic evaluations of the agency's <br />'inances management or programs'!, it yes, list the agencies. <br />In addition to our own financial audits performed by an independent external auditor, several of our highly valued <br />funding agencies conduct periodic evaluations. External organizations performing audits include: <br />Southeast Florida Behavioral Health Network <br />Children's Forum <br />Palm Beach County Community Services Division <br />United Way of Palm Beach County <br />Children's Services Council of St. Lucie County <br />Children's Services Council of Martin County <br />Children's Services County of Palm Beach County <br />3.
