Dor'.uSign Envelope 108OF53EAC-E3AB-+4AA6-8,7""-E86F4F7ECSSO <br />A TRICE COPY <br />CERTIFICAMN ON LAST PAGE <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2024-010 RYAN L_ BUTLER, CLERK <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF A <br />PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION GRANT AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County has applied for and been allocated state mass transit <br />operating assistance under FDOT Procedure number 725-030-005, also known as the Public <br />Transit Service Development Program; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County, as the designated recipient of federal and state public <br />transportation funding, must be the recipient of hose funds on behalf of the Indian River County <br />— Senior Resource Association; and <br />WHEREAS, Indian River County is eligible to receive grant funding under Section <br />341.052(l), Florida Statutes, and under 49 USC Ch. 53, Section 5307 and 49 USC 1614; and <br />WHEREAS, the Florida Department of Transportation provides Service Development <br />Grant funds to Indian River County to assist in the continuance and expansion of local public <br />transportation services. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE INDIAN Rl-v'ER COUNTY BOARD <br />OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS: <br />That the Chairman of the Indian. River County Board of County Commissioners is <br />authorized to execute a Public Transportation Grant Agreement with the Florida <br />Department of Transportation to obtain $1,200,000 in FY 2024 state Service Development <br />Grant funds for operating assistance as part of the County's ongoing public transportation <br />service. <br />2. That the Indian River County Planning and Development Services Director or his designee <br />is authorized to furnish such additional information as the Florida Department of <br />Transportation may require in connection with the County's Service Development Grant. <br />The foregoing Resolution was offered by Cor missionerJoseph E ' F1esci-f-Tand seconded by <br />Commissioner CEryl Liar , and, upon being put to a vote, the vote was as follows: <br />Chairman Susan Adams <br />_ AYE <br />Vice Chairman Joseph E.
