This coordination shall continue through the time horizon of <br />this plan. <br />Policy 6.4: The cCounty will coordinate with CareerSource Research Coast, the Sebastian and Vero Beach Chambers of <br />Commerce, local businesses, other MPOs and FDOT to develop regional TDM programs. The county will participate in <br />Regional Transit Authority activities with other Treasure Coast T/MPOs and the Space Coast TPO. The county will <br />coordinate with FDOT and the Florida East Coast Railroad (FEC) on future passenger rail service. <br />Objective 7: Through 203045, the cCounty’s transit system will continue to operate at or above the minimum service <br />level specified in policy 1.1. <br />Policy 7.3: The cCounty shallhereby adopts the MPO’s Transit Development Plan as amended by the MPO. <br />Objective 8: By 203045, all three geographic sub-areas of Indian River County will have a jobs-housing balance <br />between .8 and 1.2 <br />Objective 9: Through 203045, all future county aviation and intermodal facility expansion will be developed in a manner <br />consistent with existing and future land use. <br />Objective 10: Between 2009 and 2030, the total number of vehicle miles traveled in Indian River County will increase by <br />no more than the rate of growth of the overall population of Indian River County. [No longer statutorily required] <br />Objective 11: Through 203045, the County will ensure that all bridges on major roads have a structurally safe rating <br />and at least 80% of major roads have a pavement maintenance rating of 3.0 on the 5-point Federal Highway <br />Administration scale. <br />PAGE 73
