A <br />CONSENT AGENDA <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY <br />INTER -OFFICE MEMORANDUM <br />OFFICE OF MANAGEMENT AND BUDGET <br />TO: Members of the Board of County Commissioners <br />DATE: September 13, 2024 <br />SUBJECT: 2024/2025 STATE/COUNTY CONTRACT <br />INDIAN RIVER COUNTY HEALTH DEPARTMENT <br />FROM: Kristin Daniels <br />Director, Management & Budget <br />DESCRIPTIONS AND CONDITIONS <br />The Indian River County Health Department has submitted their annual contract for approval by <br />the Board of County Commissioners. The contract, required under Chapter 154, Florida <br />Statutes, contains the full annual operating budget, revenues and expenditure program plan for <br />the Health Department for Fiscal Year 2024/2025. <br />This contract provides for county funding of the Health Department. The direct contribution for <br />Fiscal Year 2024/2025 totals $806,623, which is level funding when compared to the current <br />fiscal year contract. In addition, the County provides maintenance and operations for Health <br />Department facilities. This is reflected as an in-kind contribution of $1,061,283 for a total <br />County contribution of $1,867,906. <br />FUNDING <br />Funding for the Florida Department of Health contract, in the amount of $806,623, is provided <br />by the General Fund/General Health/State Health Department account, number 00110669- <br />088190.
