The Chamber's Tourism Division performs this function and oversees all industry activities <br />related to the attraction of visitors to generate the highest level of tourism -generated tax revenues and economic impact <br />for the county and its businesses. The Chamber supports all program efforts by providing additional resources, as well <br />as overhead for tourism programs and services. Bed tax funds are used for Tourism staffing, marketing, advertising, <br />public relations, production of the Official Visitor Guide, five websites, Press Trips, trade/consumer shows, postage, <br />shipping and professional fees, and all other initiatives that will enhance and maintain the on-going success of the <br />tourism marketing plan. The Chamber maintains a program reinforcing our County's reputation as a destination that <br />provides visitors with a quality experience. Our professional, award-winning advertising and marketing campaigns <br />portray Indian River County as a safe, family -friendly destination and emphasize the unique characteristics of the <br />county appealing to a variety of targeted niche markets. Our technology-based information, including county -wide <br />tourism website and social media, continues to be updated, driving more visitor traffic and enhancing the visitor <br />experience in Indian River County. For the FY 2024/2025 plan, we will continue to focus our efforts on digital <br />advertising, remarketing, native content, video, sponsored stories, social media, and public relations to create <br />awareness and increase visitation to the destination while putting more "heads on beads" and creating new co - <br />opportunities for our partners.
