Wildlife always lose habitat and <br />perhaps lives, such as alligators and birds. <br />Even in Audubon golf courses, native trees <br />butchered so birds cannot nest and rest and <br />be safe from predators. Suggestions <br />included raising building heights in Downtown Vero Beach to accommodate higher density developments <br />and rectifying past planning shortcomings through retrofitting efforts.
