October 22, 1996 <br />The Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, <br />Florida, met in Regular Session at the County Commission Chambers, <br />1840 25th Street, Vero Beach, Florida, on Tuesday, October 22, <br />1996, at 9:00 a.m. Present were Fran B. Adams, Chairman; Carolyn <br />K. Eggert, Vice Chairman; Richard N. Bird; Kenneth R. Macht; and <br />John W. Tippin. Also present were James E. Chandler, County <br />Administrator; Charles P. Vitunac, County Attorney; and Patricia <br />"PJ" Jones, Deputy Clerk. <br />Chairman Adams called the meeting to order. Public Works <br />Director Jim Davis gave the Invocation and Commissioner Macht led <br />the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br />ADDITIONS TO THE AGENDA <br />Commissioner Eggert requested two additions to today's Agenda: <br />1. Item 7-F, Substance Abuse Drug Grant, <br />Certification of Acceptance of SubGrant <br />Awards. <br />2. Item 13-B, announcement regarding the new <br />Council on Aging trolley ride. <br />Chairman Adams requested the addition of two items: <br />1. Item 13-A-1, announcement regarding Bloodmobile. <br />2. Item 13-A-2, announcement regarding October 29, 1996 <br />Board meeting. <br />County Administrator Chandler requested the addition of Item <br />11-A, update regarding communications towers. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Macht, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Eggert, the Board unanimously added the <br />above items to the Agenda. <br />OCTOBER 22, 19961 900K 99 Past 469 <br />
