UW -96 -02 -DS <br />BID NO. 6067 <br />BACKGROUND <br />On August 6, 1996, the Board of County Commissioner's awarded Bid <br />No. 6067 to Driveways, Inc. in the amount of $27,285.00 to provide <br />water service and fire protection to the above -referenced <br />subdivision. The project is now complete and the Department of <br />Environmental Protection has issued clearence to begin connecting <br />customers. The Department of Utility Services is now prepared to <br />make final payment to the contractor. <br />ANAT,Y.qTq <br />The contractor was paid an initial draw in the amount of $22,320.90 <br />for 910 of the project, less retainage. Utilities staff is now <br />prepared to make final payment- in the amount of $4,964.10 (see <br />attached final pay request). <br />RECOMMENDATION <br />The staff of the Department of Utility Services recommends approval <br />of the final payment in the amount of $4,964.10. <br />98 <br />November 5, 1996 <br />
