BOOK 99 Inn 565 <br />On September 20, 1994, the Board of County Commissioners approved the <br />purchase of an additional 56 feet of right of way from Laurel Builders <br />for improvement of 58th Avenue from State Road 60 to Oslo Road. This <br />purchase was to be made in three, equal annual installments, since <br />it would provide a more beneficial cash flow to the County within the <br />District 9 Traffic Impact Fee Fund. The County has made the first two <br />purchases and the attached contract covers the last $24,864 purchase. <br />It is executed by the seller and the County's Right of Way Agent. <br />Requested Action: Request the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />final purchase and authorize the Chairman to sign the attached contract <br />on behalf of the County. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Bird, the Board unanimously approved <br />the purchase of right-of-way from Laurel Builders <br />and authorized execution of the contract, as <br />recommended in the Memorandum. <br />COPY OF CONTRACT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE <br />OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />Y. Miscellaneous Budget Amendment #003 <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of October 30, 1996: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />DATE: October 30, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: MISCELLANEOUS BUDGET AMENDMENT 003 <br />FROM: Joseph A. Baird <br />OMB Budget Director 1 <br />DESCRIPTION AND CONDITIONS <br />The attached budget amendment is to appropriate funding for the following: <br />1. The Board of County Commissioners approved the FY 1996/97 EMS County Awards <br />Grant for the purchase of capital and operating equipment. The attached entry allocates <br />the funding. <br />2. On August 13, 1996 and July 2, 1996, respectively, the BCC approved renovations at <br />Douglas School and the purchase of a HVAC Digital Control System for the Main Library. <br />The attached entry appropriates the remaining funding for the completion of the projects <br />in the new fiscal year. <br />3. The County received a Federal Transit Administration Section 5307 (formerly Section 9) <br />grant and a Florida DOT Public Transit grant in 1995/96. The monies are passed through <br />to the Council on Aging. The capital portion of these grant are multi-year.
