B009 99 FAA -35 <br />fi : Long term end toward which programs <br />or activities are ultimately directed. <br />OBJECTIVE: A specific, measurable, <br />Intermediate end that is achievable and <br />marks progress toward a goal. <br />POLICY: The course of action or way in <br />which programs and activities are conducted <br />to achieve an identified goal or objective. <br />Objectives must be evaluated to determine if <br />they have been achieved. <br />Policies must be assessed to determine U <br />they have been implemented. <br />The following table summarizes the current 1995 estimate and the <br />current 2010 projection of resident, seasonal and functional <br />populations of the county. <br />1995 2010 <br />Resident Population 100,261 135,500 <br />Seasonal Population 22,545 28,863 <br />Functional Population 122,806 164,363 <br />Race and Median Age <br />For 1995, the 1990 Census is the best source of information to <br />determine the age and racial characteristics of the county. <br />According to the 1990 Census, 90% of the county's population was <br />white, while nearly all of the balance was black.
