Company Address 2001 91' Avenue, Suite 308, Vero Beach, FL 32960 Attention: Anthony Donadio, Principal (adonadio(a-)spiezle.com ) We understand that this office has been requested to perform the following professional services: TRC is working on design of a single -story IRC EOC Expansion project. TRC has been requested to plan for a future 2nd floor on top of that single -story structure. The future 2nd floor will also include two stairs and one elevator starting from the foundation. These will be planned at the same time as the single -story expansion. Accordingly, TRC will analyze and design for a two-story building but prepare drawings only for a single story building with details for column and walls for vertical expansion. For this work our office will bill a lumpsum fee as follows: We will use the following terminology for this proposal. Phase 1 - Single Story Expansion of existing EOC. Phase 2 - Future Construction of 2nd floor on top of Phase 1 and addition of stairs and elevator outside the Phase 1 structure. Task Amount Calculate wind pressures for two story building $ 275.00 Schematic design of Phase 2 roof - No drawings to be prepared - Additional time $ 525.00 Redesign the Phase 1 roof as 2nd floor for Phase 2 in such a way that it can withstand the wind pressures of the Phase 1 and gravity loads of Phase 2 - for Additional time only $ 1,575.00 Schematic Design of the Phase 2 stairs and elevator shaft with their tilt up walls and foundation to make sure the structure systems work during construction of Phase 2 and foundation of Phase 1 are not undermined/ do not need underpinning. $ 1,300.00 Design the columns and size the tilt up walls for completed Phase 2 - 2 story structure but stop them above the Phase 1 roof - for Additional time only $ 1,300.00 Design the joints of the columns and the tilt up walls to enable Phase 2 extension for the 2nd floor. $ 3,100.00 Design foundation for 2 story building - for Additional time only $ 900.00 Coordinate all the above with Arch and MEP. $ 900.00 Additional CA for joints for Phase 2 $ S2S.00 Total $ 10,400.00 S E R V I C E I N N O V A T I O N Q U A L I T Y
