� <br />Consent Agenda <br />Indian River County <br />Interoffice Memorandum <br />Office of Management & Budget <br />To: Members of the Board of County Commissioners <br />From: Kristin Daniels <br />Director, Office of Management & Budget <br />Date: January 24, 2025 <br />Subject: Miscellaneous Budget Amendment 01 <br />Description and Conditions: <br />1. The Board of County Commissioners approved a Compensation & Classification Study for <br />Non-Union/Exempt on September 10, 2024 and Teamsters Local Union No. 769 employees <br />on September 24, 2024, along with a 10% general wage increase agreed upon by the Indian <br />River County Firefighters/Paramedics Association, Local 2201, IAFF on September 10, 2024 <br />for the FY 24/25 budget year. Exhibit "A" appropriates the funding for general wage increases <br />from the various funds. <br />2. On January 10, 2025, the Main library received the first distribution from the Joan Warren <br />Trust in the amount of $50,000. Exhibit "A" appropriates these funds to be utilize towards the <br />purchase of youth books. <br />3. On January 14, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners approved providing additional <br />compensation in the form of an employer contribution to the County's 457 deferred <br />compensation plan to the Deputy County Administrator's employment agreement. Exhibit "A" <br />appropriates $15,500 from General Fund/Reserve for Contingency. <br />4. On October 8, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners approved the grant agreement for <br />the Florida Department of State, Division of Historical Resources Small Matching Grant for the <br />Gifford Parks "Tour Through Time". Exhibit "A" appropriates these grant funds in the amount of <br />$11,250. <br />5. On October 8, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners approved the Emergency <br />Management Program Grant (EMPG) Federally -Funded Subgrant Agreement in the amount of <br />$67,882. Exhibit "A" approves these grant revenues and expenditures. <br />6. On August 20, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners approved the 2024-2025 State <br />Funded Subgrant Agreement (T0363) to update Indian River County's Hazards Analysis. <br />Exhibit "A" appropriates these grant funds totaling $1,930. <br />7. On January 28, 2025, the Board of County Commissioners approved the revised funding <br />commitment from Indian River County of up to $400,000 toward the Humiston Beach <br />Boardwalk Project. Exhibit "A" appropriates this funding from General Fund/Reserve for <br />Contingency. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Staff recommends the Board of County Commissioners approve the budget resolution amending the <br />fiscal year 2024-25 budget. <br />155 <br />
