Titkanich, Jr., County Administrator <br />Kristin Daniels, Director, Office of Management and Budget <br />Jennifer Hyde, Purchasing Manager <br />FROM: Shelby Ball, Purchasing Specialist <br />SUBJECT: First Amendment to Agreement for Phase II Design Services for the Emergency <br />Operations Center Expansion (RFQ 2022062) <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On July 2, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners and Donadio and Associates' Architects, PA, A <br />Spiezle Group Inc., Company (Donadio) entered into an agreement for Phase II Design Services for <br />the Emergency Operations Center Expansion for $551,615. These services encompass the design <br />and development of drawings and specifications, procurement, permitting, and construction <br />administration to provide a new 10,000 square foot single -story addition to the existing <br />Emergency Operations Center (EOC). <br />ANALYSIS: <br />Staff has been satisfied with services provided thus far and requests that the Consultant extend <br />their services until the completion and closeout of the project, scheduled for May 31, 2026. Staff <br />also requested a proposal from Donadio for the redesign of the EOC Expansion to accommodate a <br />future 2nd floor.
