EXHIBIT A - SCOPE OF WORK <br />It is understood the COUNTY Emergency Services Department desires to construct an approximate <br />7,400 SF warehouse and an approximate 10,000 SF Emergency Operations Center (EOC) Building <br />Addition on the existing EOC parcel located at 4225 43rd Avenue. The proposed development will <br />require Landscape design / permitting services by a registered Landscape Architect and was not <br />included in the original Work Order. The CONSULTANT proposes to provide the COUNTY with the below <br />scope of work associated with the Landscape design / permitting services in support of the Warehouse <br />and EOC Building Additions as further described below. <br />Task 1: Landscape Design & Permitting <br />The CONSULTANT will provide the following Task 1 services: <br />A. Site Inspection <br />The CONSULTANTwill conduct a site inspection to document and inspect the existing conditions <br />trees and landscape conditions in preparation for the development of the Landscape Plans. <br />B. Landscape Construction Plans <br />The CONSULTANT will prepare the necessary landscape plans and details in accordance with <br />the local jurisdictional regulations for the project. Landscape design drawings for the proposed <br />improvements include the following: Landscape Plan, Detail Landscape Plan, Tree Disposition <br />Plan and Landscape Details & Specifications. <br />C. County Reviews <br />The CONSULTANT will provide the landscape plans to the COUNTY for preliminary reviews and <br />coordination as requested. <br />D. Permitting <br />The CONSULTANT will provide the landscape permit plans/documents for submission to the <br />COUNTY in support of the site permitting. The CONSULTANT will respond to agency permit <br />comments as applicable. The CONSULTANT will assist the Civil Engineer in preparation of any <br />applications related to tree preservation and landscaping. All Permit Application Fees will be <br />paid for by COUNTY. <br />SCHEDULE <br />The Landscape Architect shall provide the required landscape documents to the project CONSULTANT <br />to meet those schedule milestones as listed in the original project Work Order. <br />FEE SCHEDULE <br />The COUNTY agrees to pay, and the Consultant agrees to accept for services rendered, pursuant to this <br />Agreement, fees inclusive of expenses in accordance with the following: <br />Task Fee <br />Task 1: Landscape Design and Permitting $ 8,700 <br />TOTAL $ 8,700 <br />
