Indian River County <br />Solid Waste Disposal District <br />1325 74°i Avenue S.W. <br />Vero Beach, FL 32968 <br />FERAL HOG REMOVAL CONTRACT <br />This CONTRACT is entered into between the INDIAN RIVER COUNTY SOLID WASTE <br />DISPOSAL DISTRICT, a dependent special district of Indian River County, Florida (the <br />"District") and Double Ott Eradication Services, LLC, individually ("Contractor") to provide <br />feral hog removal services. <br />In consideration of the mutual benefits to be derived here from, the District and Contractor <br />hereby agree as follows: <br />1. Location and Hours of Feral Hog Removal - The District hereby grants Contractor <br />permission to perform feral hog (a nuisance animal) removal services for the District at the <br />Indian River County landfill located at 1325 74th Avenue SW, Vero Beach, FL 32968 (the <br />"Landfill Premise"). See Exhibit "A" for the location of the Landfill Premises and the areas <br />where the Contractor is excluded from entering. The contractor is also excluded from the <br />District properties west of 1-95. The District shall approve the hours for removal on the <br />Landfill Premises in advance of Contractor's entry upon the Premises. <br />2. Manner of Removing Feral Hogs - Contractor shall assume all responsibility for proper <br />and lawful handling, holding and disposition of the feral hogs. Contractor agrees that feral <br />hog trapping locations shall be pre -approved by the District and performed consistent with <br />the following requirements whenever utilized: <br />a. Traps will be provided with at least 5 gallons and up to 15 gallons of water <br />depending on the size of the trap. <br />b. Traps will be checked every 48 hours. <br />c.
