VI. Microwave Terminal Configuration (CU & RF) <br />Description <br />A TRUE COPY <br />CERTIFICATION ON LAST PAGE <br />RYAN L. BUTLER, CLERK <br />Demonstrate each terminal's CU and RFU Part #, Serial #, and Software Version display properly in the <br />EM2 software and record this on the Factory Terminal Acceptance form as well. A Terminal Acceptance <br />form will be filled out for each radio that is tested. <br />Note: For Proteus MU/MX+/MXD terminal the power output is software configurable not hardware set. <br />There is no "fine tune" adjustment. You set the desired output power using the EM2 software. The <br />Terminal output power is set per the PCN requirements. <br />Instructions <br />Result <br />1. Record the Proteus MX CU part number and serial number shown on the sticker located <br />on the CU Shelf in the appropriate section of the Terminal Acceptance form. <br />2. Record the Proteus MX RFU part number and serial number shown on the sticker located <br />on the RF Shelf in the appropriate section of the Terminal Acceptance form. <br />3. Record the Software version for the SPU and RFU in the labeled Section of the Terminal <br />Acceptance form. <br />a. "Log -In" to the respective terminal using the following procedure: <br />i. Using the SPARCS NMS software locate the unit to be tested. <br />ii. Double click the icon in the SPARCS software to launch the MNI EM2 software <br />b. In the EM2 software go to "Radio Info" in the menu and select "Inventory..." this will <br />bring up a screen that includes the software versions and serial numbers <br />Recorded data: Channel Unit and RF Part #, Serial #, Software Version and TLI type match that <br />recorded on the System Test Data Sheet. <br />Page 18 c <br />
