Piggybacking/Tailgating — Unauthorized act of gaining access to a restricted area, system, or <br />network by following closely behind an authorized individual without their knowledge or <br />consent. <br />Policy Violation — Any potential violation of this or other County policies, standards, or <br />procedures. <br />Removable Media — Any type of storage device that can be easily removed from an information <br />technology resource, typically for the purpose of storing, transferring, or accessing data <br />(e.g., USB drives or CDs). <br />Site Moderator— Individuals responsible for managing and maintaining the commenting <br />community for a given social media site or blog. <br />Technology Incident— Any potentially harmful event that may cause a failure, interruption, or <br />loss in availability to County information technology resources. <br />Unauthorized Access Incident — Any potential unauthorized access to a County information <br />technology resource. <br />IV. Policy <br />1. Acceptable Use <br />a. Personnel are responsible for complying with County policies when using County <br />information technology resources. If requirements or responsibilities are unclear, <br />please seek assistance from the Information Technology Department. <br />b. Personnel must promptly report harmful events or policy violations involving County <br />information technology resources or information to their manager or a member of the <br />Incident Response Team (CIRT@indianriver.gov). Events include, but are not limited to, <br />the following: <br />i. Technology incident <br />ii. Data incident <br />iii. Unauthorized access incident <br />iv.
