<br />AN ORDINANCE OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE ZONING 
<br />ORDINANCE AND THE ACCOMPANYING ZONING MAP FOR APPROXIMATELY 13.2 ACRES 
<br />LOCATED ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF 9TH STREET SW, APPROXIMATELY 0.57 OF A MILE 
<br />WEST OF 7TH ROAD SW AND APPROXIMATELY 0.35 OF A MILE EAST OF 20TH AVENUESW. 
<br />FROM RS -6, SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT, TO RM -6, MULTIPLE -FAMILY 
<br />RESIDENTIAL DISTRICT; AND PROVIDING CODIFICATION, SEVERABILITY, AND 
<br />EFFECTIVE DATE. 
<br />WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission, sitting as the local planning agency on 
<br />such matters, held a public hearing and subsequently made a recommendation regarding this 
<br />rezoning request; and 
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Indian River County, Florida, did 
<br />publish and send its Notice of Intent to rezone the hereinafter described property; and 
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing pursuant to this 
<br />rezoning request, at which parties in interest and citizens were heard; and 
<br />WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners determined that this rezoning is in 
<br />conformance with the Comprehensive Plan of Indian River County. 
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County Commissioners of 
<br />Indian River County, Florida, that the zoning of the following described property situated in Indian 
<br />River County, Florida, to -wit: 
<br />A PORTION OF THE EAST 25 ACRES OF TRACT 1, SECTION 26, TOWNSHIP 33 SOUTH, RANGE 
<br />39 EAST, BEING MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED AS FOLLOWS: 
<br />COMMENCING AT THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF SAID SECTION 26; THENCE, ALONG THE 
<br />EAST LINE OF SAID SECTION 26, SOUTH 00°18'55" WEST, A DISTANCE OF 606.94 FEET; 
<br />THENCE, DEPARTING SAID EAST LINE, NORTH 89°41'05" WEST, TO THE EAST LINE OF SAID 
<br />TRACT 1, A DISTANCE OF 30.00 FEET TO THE POINT OF BEGINNING; THENCE, ALONG SAID 
<br />EAST LINE, SOUTH 00°18'55" WEST, TO THE SOUTH LINE OF SAID TRACT 1, A DISTANCE OF 
<br />713.30 FEET; THENCE, ALONG SAID SOUTH LINE, NORTH 89°49'38" WEST, TO THE EAST LINE 
<br />OF PLAT OF GRACEWOODS, ACCORDING TO THE PLAT THEREOF, AS RECORDED IN PLAT 
<br />BOOK 23, PAGE 50 OF THE PUBLIC RECORDS OF INDIAN RIVER COUNTY, FLORIDA, A 
<br />DISTANCE OF 802.68 FEET; THENCE, ALONG SAID EAST LINE, NORTH 00°21'30" EAST, A 
<br />DISTANCE OF 715.30 FEET; THENCE, DEPARTING SAID EAST LINE, SOUTH 89°41'05" EAST, A 
<br />DISTANCE OF 802.15 FEET TO THE POINT AND PLACE OF BEGINNING OF THE HEREIN
