Prado, Deputy County Attorney <br />DATE: June 20, 2025 <br />SUBJECT: Notice of Second Extension to Contract for Construction of Required Roadway <br />Improvements (Re: Right -Of -Way Permit No. 2021091000) - Project: The Vivien <br />Apartments, City of Vero Beach - Developer: PARK POINTE APARTMENTS VERO, <br />LLC <br />BACKGROUND <br />By Resolution No. 2019-089 adopted on October 1, 2019, the Board of County Commissioners delegated to the <br />County Administrator or his designee, the authority to execute extensions to Contracts for Construction of <br />Required Roadway Improvements for work to be performed under Section 312.11 of the Code of Indian River <br />County, so long as the approval signature of the Public Works Director appeared on the extension document and <br />that notice of such extension is presented as an informational item on a future agenda of the Board of County <br />Commissioners. <br />There are two separate contracts under the same ROW permit number, both have been extended for the second <br />time. <br />41 ST ST. NORTH CANAL WIDENING IMPROVEMENTS <br />For your information, a second extension document has been entered into between PARK POINTE <br />APARTMENTS VERO, LLC and Indian River County, whereby the date for completion of the roadway <br />improvements to 41st St. North Canal Widening Improvements within County right-of-way relating to The <br />Vivien Apartments, City of Vero Beach project has been extended to May 24, 2026.
