FDEP LGFR Grant No. <br />19IR31 was awarded to the County as a cost share grant for feasibility, design and construction costs for the <br />Sector 5 Beach and Dune Restoration Project (Project) which completed construction in March of 2020. On <br />September 26, 2019 the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approved the Agreement for FDEP LGFR <br />Grant No. 19IR3 for up to $821,833 in cost share. On April 21, 2020 the BOCC approved Amendment No. 1 <br />which increased the cost share funds to $1,748,751. On January 9, 2024 the BOCC approved Amendment No. 2 <br />which maintained the same funding total but extended the Task End Dates. The County continues to work with <br />the FDEP and FEMA on submitting reimbursements for costs associated with the Project. Grant No. 19IR3 <br />Amendment No. 2 expires on June 30, 2025.
