Proclamation <br />CELEBRATING THE 100TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE INDIAN RIVER <br />COUNTY MOSQUITO CONTROL DISTRICT <br />^W`iereas, the Indian River Mosquito Control District, established in 1925, has consistently upheld <br />its commitment to excellence, service, and progress throughout the past century; and <br />-Whereas, over the course of its 100 years, the Indian River Mosquito Control District has made <br />significant contributions to Indian River County, continually evolving to meet the changing needs of its <br />constituents while maintaining the core values of accountability, innovation, and stewardship; and <br />-Whereas, the collective achievements of the Indian River Mosquito Control District over the past <br />century have created a legacy of positive change, creating a safer environment for the countless individuals <br />and communities; and <br />^Whereas, as we celebrate this momentous occasion, we reflect on the milestones, challenges, and <br />triumphs of the! past century, while looking forward to the continued growth and success of the Indian River <br />Mosquito Control District in the years to come. <br />Now,'rherefore, be it Proclaimed by the Board of County Commissioners ofIndian <br />River County, FCorida, that July 1, 2025, shall be officially recognized as the 100th Anniversary of the <br />Indian River Mosquito Control District. We encourage all citizens to reflect on the enduring commitment <br />of the Indian River Mosquito Control District and the vital role it has played in protecting public health and <br />enhancing the quality of life in our county. Let us come together to honor the legacy of this remarkable <br />institution, acknowledge the dedication and service of all those who have contributed to its success, and <br />celebrate the continued impact it will have on our community in the next century and beyond. <br />Adopted this 1St day of July, 2025.
