Indian River County Library System Annual Plan of Service FY 2025/2026 <br />The Annual Plan of Service outlines the Indian River County Library System's primary <br />activities and initiatives for the upcoming fiscal year. The plan aligns with the goals, <br />objectives, and action steps of the Library System's Long -Range Plan and is supported by <br />the approved budget. <br />The major emphasis during Fiscal Year 2025/2026 (October 1, 2025 to September 30, <br />2026) will be: <br />• Focus on customer service excellence. <br />• Ensure quality library services and materials are available to all county residents. <br />• Evaluate and enhance both traditional and digital collections to reflect local <br />interests and address gaps. <br />• Offer technology training and maintain access to public computers and internet. <br />• Provide 24/7 access to digital materials and research databases. <br />• Develop and implement a variety of creative and educational classes, workshops, <br />and events for all ages and abilities. <br />• Maintain welcoming spaces for residents to meet, interact, read, and study. <br />• Continue Archive Center digitization projects to preserve local and Florida history. <br />• Strengthen outreach services within the community. <br />• Continue participation in the Dolly Parton Imagination Library to promote early <br />childhood literacy. <br />• Offer adults access to Career Online High School as a pathwayto career <br />advancement and further education. <br />• Provide ongoing professional development to library staff to strengthen skills and <br />service delivery. <br />
