Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final August 19, 2025 <br />Vero Beach. <br />Chris Pope, Board of Directors, Youth Sailing Foundation, addressed the Board <br />regarding boats discharging sewage while anchored. County Administrator John <br />Titkanich informed her that the State established a no discharge zone from Fort Pierce <br />through Indian River County. Commissioner Adams invited Ms. Pope and Mr. Drake <br />to add their comments to the record during the public hearing under Item I I.A.1. <br />Martin Stygar, Sebastian, discussed the financial hardship of the universal garbage <br />collection fee and requested consideration for retirees on a fixed income. <br />No Action Taken or Required <br />9. CONSENT AGENDA <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Adams, seconded by Chairman Flescher, <br />to approve the Consent Agenda as amended, pulling Item 9.1. for discussion.
