ARTICLE 21 <br />EMPLOYEE LEAVE AND BENEFITS <br />21.01 Except as expressly set forth in this Agreement, bargaining unit employees shall be <br />provided leave and other benefits (e.g., medical leave, disability leave, court duty, annual <br />leave/administrative days/personal days, tuition reimbursement, etc.) in accordance with the <br />County's Personnel Rules & Regulations and Fire -Rescue Services Department's policies. For <br />purposes of accruals and caps for both medical/sick and annual leave, a "day" shall be twelve (12) <br />hours. Employees shall be allowed to accrue 720 hours of medical/sick leave and 900 hours of <br />annual leave. Any hours above those caps shall be paid out to the employee consistent with the <br />promotional policy of the County in effect at the time of promotion. <br />32 <br />
