E <br />County Engineer .1\1��, �Y' CONSENT AGENDA <br />SUBJECT: Gardenia Gardens Elder\\\ly Housing Facility Developer's <br />Agreement <br />DATE: November 8, 1996 <br />In order to facilitate the drainage from this development a larger <br />pipe under 6th Avenue needs to be installed. The developer has <br />agreed to pay for the drainage pipe. Because this is a County <br />maintained right-of-way, and the pipes existing under the roadway <br />are in need of replacement, the County will replace the pipes using <br />the funds provided by the developer. This agreement sets forth the <br />amount to be provided by the developer, which is a total of <br />$1,524.75. <br />Staff requests the Board of County Commissioners approve this <br />developer's agreement and authorize the Chairman to execute this <br />agreement on behalf of the Board.. <br />Commissioner Ginn wanted to know who pays for the labor to <br />install the pipe, and County Administrator Chandler explained that <br />the pipe is being replaced to increase the size and that County <br />crews do the work. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Tippin, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Developer's Agreement with Vero Beach Elderly <br />Housing, Inc. and authorized the Chairman to execute <br />same, as recommended by staff. <br />AGREEMENT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE <br />CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />NOVEMBER 19, 1996 22 <br />
