A TRUE COPY <br />CERTIFICATION ON LAST PAGE <br />RYAN L. BUTLER, CLERK <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />SCOPE OF WORK <br />FWC Contract No. #25203 <br />Section 1. PURPOSE OR PROJECT WORKPLAN <br />A. Description of Good/Service <br />Indian River County BOCC will remove and dispose of 1 derelict vessel from the public waters of <br />the state within the jurisdiction of the Indian River County BOCC. <br />B. Background <br />The removal and disposal of these derelict vessels will improve boating safety by removing hazards <br />to navigation. This project will also help to restore sensitive marine resources and improve water <br />quality. <br />C. Support of Commission Mission / Return on Investment <br />The Commission's mission is to conserve fish and wildlife resources for their long-term well-being <br />and the benefit of people. This includes preservation of habitat and the environment. The waters of <br />the State, like Florida's fish and wildlife, belong to the people of Florida, and the FWC is entrusted <br />by the people of Florida to take care of these resources. Removing derelict vessels from the waters <br />of the State maintains water quality both for Florida's fish and wildlife resources and a diverse, <br />growing population of people using the waterways. <br />Section 2. TERMINOLOGY/ACRONYMS <br />None. <br />Section 3. DELIVERABLES <br />1. DELIVERABLE #1 <br />Removal and disposal of 1 derelict vessel from the public waters of the State. <br />1.1. Specific Project Deliverables and Associated Tasks - The Grantee shall provide all labor, equipment, <br />and materials to remove the derelict vessels listed below from the public waters of the state within <br />the jurisdiction of the Indian River County BOCC and properly dispose of the vessels in the <br />designated disposal location: <br />1. Case #: FWC240N0105262 <br />Description: White 41' Albin Sailboat, Reg: Unknown <br />HIN: AUL42112M81I <br />Location: 27 39.7385 (N) / 80 22.4983 (W), Indian River Lagoon north of Fitz Island <br />Disposal: Dispose of in authorized landfill facility <br />1.2. Minimum Level of Performance - The vessels and all parts of the vessels listed above shall be <br />completely removed from the waters of the State and all parts of the vessels shall be disposed of as <br />provided. <br />As part of satisfactory completion of this Agreement, the Grantee shall provide to the Commission <br />all documentation required by Attachment H (Grantee's Required Documentation Submission List) <br />at or before the time stated in Attachment H. <br />
