BUTLER, CLERK <br />STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION <br />ROAD JURISDICTON TRANSFER (RJT) AGREEMENT <br />State Highway System as depicted on the location map attached hereto as Exhibit A-1 and the <br />road data form attached hereto as Exhibit B-1; <br />WHEREAS, the COUNTY by Resolution No. dated , 2025, attached hereto <br />as Exhibit C-1 and by this reference made a part hereof, desires to enter into this agreement <br />and authorizes its officers to do so. <br />NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants and promises herein <br />contained, and for other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and adequacy of which <br />are hereby acknowledged, the COUNTY and the DEPARTMENT agree as set forth below. <br />This Agreement sets forth the terms and conditions under which the COUNTY and the <br />DEPARTMENT will abide. The commencement of new jurisdictional and maintenance <br />responsibilities is the date of this agreement's execution by the Department Secretary, unless <br />otherwise specified in this agreement. <br />I. For roadway transfers ON to the State Highway System from the COUNTY: <br />A. The COUNTY gives up all rights to the roadway corridors, including the right-of-way as <br />generally depicted on the Right -of -Way Aerial Map, Exhibit A-4, except as may be <br />specified in this Agreement. <br />B. Roadway transfers from the COUNTY to the DEPARTMENT include, and are associated <br />with the following: <br />1. CR -512 (Sebastian Boulevard) from 1-95/SR-9 to CR -510 (90th Avenue) <br />Roadway ID 88-040-000 from BMP' 23.954 to EMP2 26.588 <br />2. CR -510 (90th Avenue/85th Street) from CR -512 (Sebastian Boulevard) to US-1/SR-5 <br />Roadway ID 88-050-000 from BMP 0.000 to EMP 5.879 <br />3. CR -606 (Oslo Road) from 1-95/SR-9 to US-1/SR-5 <br />Roadway ID 88-000-442 from BMP 0.300 to EMP 0.501 <br />Roadway ID 88-000-421 from BMP 0.000 to EMP 0.506 <br />Roadway ID 88-601-000 from BMP 0.000 to EMP 7.265 <br />C. Roadway transfers ON to the State Highway System take effect immediately upon <br />execution of this Agreement, excluding CR -510 (90th Avenue/85th Street), which will <br />automatically transfer ON to the State Highway System in its entirety upon the <br />DEPARTMENT's issuance of Right -of -Way Certification for project FM No. 441692.1, <br />following execution of this Agreement. <br />D. The DEPARTMENT has currently programmed ten (10) roadway improvement projects <br />in its Work Program along the subject roadway segments of CR -512 (Sebastian <br />Boulevard), CR -510 (90th Avenue/85th Street), and CR -606 (Oslo Road), as described <br />below and depicted on Exhibit A-3: <br />Beginning Mile Point <br />2 Ending Mile Point <br />Road Jurisdiction Transfer (RJT) Agreement — Page 12 <br />
