We have served as a core <br />provider for Indian River County and the Treasure Coast for over 65 years. New Horizons' system of care provides 24/7, <br />tailored, accessible continuum of care, from immediate short-term inpatient crisis support for adults and children; to <br />outpatient medical, therapy, case management and supportive living services supporting recovery and the improvement <br />of abilities to complete instrumental activities of daily living (higher productivity and community participation). Our team <br />of dedicated professionals works to improve the well being and quality of life for individuals, families and the surrounding <br />community throughout Indian River County and the broader Treasure Coast. <br />)ummary Keport <br />Amount requested from Indian River County for 2025/2026: $725,000.00 <br />Total Proposed Program budget for 2025/2026: $33,225,000.00 <br />Percent of total Program budget: 2.18% <br />Current Funding (2024/2025) $405,407.34 <br />Dollar increase / (decrease) in request: $319,592.66 <br />Percent increase / decrease in request: 78.83% <br />it request increased 5-/o or more, orieny ex lain wn : <br />Our requested increase of $319k is a critical component of our overall funding necessary for New Horizons to restore <br />net positive financial results (after a few years of using reserves) and deliver meaningful, quality services to <br />individuals and families. The Indian River County support is crucial for New Horizons to continue to deliver important <br />services within the context of a challenging cost environment. New Horizons must provide targeted compensation <br />increases (to effectively compete for talent) to retain key team members and provide stable, continuous care. New <br />Horizons will also experience operating supplies cost increases. Further, New Horizons used much of its cash <br />reserves to support continued services during 2020-2024.
