Prekindergarten Interagency Coordinating Council APDointments - <br />Kahle, Nall, Feaster <br />The Board reviewed a Memorandum of November 14, 1996: <br />TO: Board of County Commissioners <br />FROM: Commissioner Fran B. Adams, Chairman 6� <br />DATE: November 14, 1996 <br />SUBJECT: Prekindergarten Interagency Coordinating Council, IRC <br />The 1996 Florida Legislature passed the "Work and Gain Economic Self - <br />Sufficiency (WAGES) Act" which outlines the guidelines for a local interagency <br />council for early childhood services. <br />This council consists of 12 members, four of which are appointed by the <br />district school board, five by the HRS district administrator and three by the Board <br />of County Commissioners. Kathryn Marshall is the Prekindergarten Coordinator <br />at Dodgertown Elementary School for this council. <br />The following three people are being nominated for appointment to the <br />Prekindergarten Interagency Coordinating Council: <br />Sandy Kahle - private provider of preschool care and <br />education to 3 -year and 4 -year old children <br />Katie Nall - represents social, dental, adult literacy or <br />transportation <br />Maureen Feaster represents the County Public Health <br />Department <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Eggert, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Ginn, the Board unanimously appointed <br />Sandy Kahle, Katie Nall, and Maureen Feaster to the <br />Prekindergarten Interagency Coordinating Council, as <br />nominated in the memorandum. <br />0 <br />November 26, 1996 <br />BOOK 99 01E9�9 <br />
