Board of County Commissioners Meeting Minutes - Final November 4, 2025 <br />Attachments: 2024 2025 Resolution <br />Exhibit "A" <br />Notice of Public Hearing <br />Director Kristin Daniels from the Office of Management & Budget presented Budget <br />Amendment 6 to the Board. This amendment would allocate cash to finance rollover <br />projects, grants, and compensated absences. According to Florida statute <br />129.062(f), a public hearing must be held whenever the budget is amended using <br />cash. <br />The Chairman opened the public hearing. There being no speakers, the Chairman <br />closed the hearing. <br />There was no further discussion on this Item. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Earman, seconded by Vice Chairman Loar, <br />to approve staffs recommendations and Resolution 2025-070, amending the <br />Fiscal Year 2024-2025 Budget. The motion carried by the following vote: <br />Aye: 5- Chairman Flescher, Vice Chairman Lear, Commissioner Adams, Commissioner <br />Earman, and Commissioner Moss <br />The Chairman called for a recess at 9:39 a.m. and reconvened at 9:45 a.m. with all <br />members present. <br />B. PUBLIC NOTICE ITEMS <br />12. COUNTY ADMINISTRATOR MATTERS <br />12.A. 25-1060 Proposed Commission Meeting Dates for CY 2026 <br />Recommended Action: Staff recommends approval of the proposed Board of County Commission Regular <br />Meeting dates for the Calendar Year 2026 as well as direction from the Board for the <br />County Attorney to prepare an ordinance to amend the code to clarify Sections <br />102.01(1) and (4). <br />Attachments: Proposed Meeting Dates <br />Section 102.01 Board of County Commissioners Meetings and <br />Procedures (20251023) <br />County Administrator Titkanich shared the proposed meeting dates for the Board of <br />County Commissioners for 2026. He noted that the Board Agenda Packet was sent <br />by noon on Fridays. He recommended finalizing and sending the agenda packet by <br />the close of business on the Thursday before the meeting to avoid last-minute delays. <br />A motion was made by Commissioner Moss, seconded by Commissioner Adams, <br />to approve staffs recommendation.
