COM MSIONER GINN OUT OF TOWN <br />Commissioner Ginn advised that she will be out of town <br />beginning January 8th and returning on the 13th. <br />Chairman Eggert suggested she write a memo which can be <br />circulated. <br />COADIENTS ON FISCHER-SEBASTIAN RIVER LAAC SITE <br />PURCHASE <br />Commissioner Macht advised that subsequent to the closing the <br />previous Friday on the purchase of the Fischer -Sebastian River <br />property, he and others took a tour of the property with Extension <br />Agent Janice Broda as their guide. He regarded the purchase of the <br />property as probably one of the greatest things the Board has done. <br />He felt it would have been a criminal omission if they had turned <br />down the opportunity to buy it. He predicted the property would <br />accrete in aesthetic value and people who come after will be very <br />grateful for its preservation.
