Finney, SRA <br />County Right -of -Way Agent CONSENT AGENDA <br />SUBJECT: 43rd Avenue Right -of -Way acquisition; Robertson Trust/H. <br />Yong Kim Parcel <br />DATE: January 20, 1997 <br />The Board of County Commissioners on January 14, 1997 authorized <br />the staff to make a $38,000 counter-offer to the property owner. <br />The owner has agreed to the $38,000purchase price and has fully <br />executed the contract. The $500 appraisal fee will be paid by the <br />County. There are no other purchaser expenses for commissions, <br />other appraisals or attorney fees. <br />The closing will occur on February 10, 1997. <br />Staff requests the Board of County Commissioners approve the <br />$38,500 contract and authorize the Chairman to execute the <br />contract. <br />Funding to be from $.01 Local Option Sales Tax Revenue designated <br />for Right -of -Way Acquisitions. <br />ON MOTION by Commissioner Adams, SECONDED by <br />Commissioner Macht, the Board unanimously approved <br />the Contract for Sale and Purchase from Heon Yong <br />Kim in the amount of $38,500, as recommended by <br />staff. <br />CONTRACT IS ON FILE IN THE OFFICE OF THE CLERK TO THE BOARD <br />16 <br />JANUARY 28, 1997 BooK.� FecC j. <br />
